No Headliner pics - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

A friend came to me with a 2010 that got a dent in the roof about 2" from the windshield on the passenger side. I'd like to get the dent out, but as I was trying to get at it from the sunroof, I felt a brace about two inches behind the dent.

Does anybody have any pictures of the roof without the headliner so I can see if I can access the area from the overhead console area? Or if I drop the headliner on the passenger side, can I get beyond the passenger visor through the bracing without completely removing the headliner? Any pictures of the interior roof is appreciated?

Sorry, but no pics. However, try the Ultimate Factories episode for the 5th gen Camaro. I'm guessing it would have a shot of the inside of the roof panel at some point in the show - maybe during the paint process? YouTube probably has the episode. Good luck!

Thanks you have to love people who do not secure items in the back of a truck and all of a sudden wack a box hits the car roof and fender. My buddy above got the fender dent out now he is going to work on the roof.

Wish I could be of help Scott, I worked on several 5th gens this past summer with hail damage but can't remember exactly the location/access of the bracing you're talking about.

Any way to glue pull it?
