What to do?
I bought a 2014 LS camaro on May 26th of this year. I have put about 2500 dollars of mods on it but, I had a 2011 2ss/Rs that had a lot of power. I didn't buy an SS because I have a 13 Denali with the 6.2 and gets bad gas mileage. Plus the funds are low. Anyway thinking about trading it in on a used SS. Just a little worried about buying a used car. New with warranty and a V6 or Used SS? Maybe flip a coin?

If funds are low stay with what you have and stop buying cars for a while.

I'd have to agree with RockerBox. If the funds aren't there don't make things harder on yourself. Keep what you have until the funds are there and then make a trade. Enjoy what you have though! A V6 is plenty power for someone who doesn't track their car.

Maybe you should quit your job to allow more time to make the proper decision. That would be my advice....and don't forget about the new Corvettes.....really nice cars.

Everybody is right bout not spending more money. I use my overtime money to pay for my car and everything that goes in and on it and do not takeaway from my household funds. Just was thinking out loud. At 51 I have a play toy and was just wondering bout making the switch, thanks for the input.

Huh? I don't track my car and the first thing I did was drop some coin on headers and a supercharger for the SS. Grinning is winning, I think he misses the rush.

Personally I would stay with what you have. You stated "funds are low". Even if you got the exact payment on an SS, you still have the expense of sales tax and title fees. Would probably cost at least $800-$1,000 just to switch cars (assuming payment is the same). Keep what you have, pay down bills and maybe get a 6th Gen when they come out. Just my opinion.

I'd keep what you have.
You're going to get hosed on trade-in, taxes, and the mods you put in to your V6, plus a thorough hosing on whatever retail price you end up paying for a new or used SS. I'd take a real hard look at why you're unhappy, and if buying another car is really going to fix that. |

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't being a dick. Just some friendly advice. If you want to do the swap then go for it.

If your low on funds I wouldn't be out car shopping, especially since you make take a hit trading the V6 in for another SS, I would hang onto it until your in a better position financially
I myself got into some trouble trading my 2010 in for the 13 payment wise, just make sure you can afford it! Good Luck!
