No dyno by ARH, but I did dyno just the header swap from shorty to long tube/cats. I can't find my damn graphs, would have to look up the test by nallen. Was a very good gain, and torque curve looks very good. Let me find it, I'll edit this with link in a few.

I noticed that ARH have bends and BBK are straight. What's the effect? Thanks!

With the straights you have quicker access to mid-range torque, the looney curvy ones we have have more at the top RPMs.

I just ordered my American Racing LTs yesterday. However i'm going to have a bit of a different setup than you guys. I got the American Racing "short system" that is designed to simply bolt up with my after market MBRP full catback system. I'll be curious to see how it sounds compared to those of you with the totally open system and those who connected up to an axle back exhaust. The headers should ship Monday and i'm in AZ so hopefully it won't take long. If they are here by Friday i'll have em installed that day.

Just realized it'll be a week or so before I have my ARH setup installed because I am having them jet coated.

Guys, In terms of headers, controlling where the engine makes peak torque is done by the length of the primaries. In terms of primary size we firmly believe this engine will not benefit from anything smaller than 1-3/4 mainly because of the power it produces and it's rpm capability. Our headers are not only very close to equal length but they're also 30-32" in length. Knowing what we know about the V6 we believe this is the ideal length and size for best all around performance.

Wow, thats the setup I'm thinking of as well =D You'd get it done way before me though, I haven't even bought anything yet.

As for the OP... that sounds very good. I can't wait to get my ARH!

Just an update on my post. My ARH setup will be delivered on Friday, however I am sending the headers to get jet coated which takes about a week. I am hoping they will be finished by the following Friday (July 30th) so I can have them installed that day otherwise it'll be the following week.

Hey Guys,
That will be the next mod I do to the car after we get the CAI on and tested. It's my wife's car, so I have to do a little schmoozing to get the OK to put LT's on her car.

We're a dealer for ARH, so that will obviously be the brand we use. Will do with stock mufflers first, then at some point, depending on sound, may switch to an aftermarket cat-back.
