ATTN SO CAL......LETS HAVE SOME FUN...
Ladies and gents, now that the so cal family as a whole has had its ups and downs this winter and spring and its all behind us now i would like to invite everyone from every group HT5, Mayhem, RaceTeam, IECC,(if i forgot anyone punch me) to have a nice cruise/run through Malibu canyon and down a special road called Tuna.
no drama no dirty looks, just pistons, 91 Octane and a shit load of brake dust. Date Sat. March 31st wanted to set it far away enough so that we all have time to pencil it in. Ive asked Mike Haddad to run point through to and down Tuna Rd. start point i will post next Friday the 23rd to give people anough time to give us the YAY or NAY # of people determines our start and end point. get enough YAYs the we BBQ after !!!!!

This would be a blast man. I'll see if I can make this one. It doesn't matter who's coming or not, I just like everyone to get together and gave a good and honest time. Cars bring everyone together!

A word of warning to those unfamiliar: I have run this road many times in several different cars. Tuna canyon road is no joke. Its a one way road down the mountain getting as crazy as 25-35 degree grades. Its mainly composed of decreasing radius hairpins that get a lot tighter at the apex of the turn. A lot of them are also banked the wrong way. This is an absolute brake check.
I would love to go but my tires simply cannot handle this run. Im glad Mike is taking point on this one, pay attention to the car in front of you for when you should be braking. Have fun all and please please be careful. |

Hmm my tires are pretty toast too right now. I am getting new tires when I get my new wheels. Probably won't make it to this.

Awesome event planning Luis! SoCal should be the tightest unit on C5. We can do it like just about nowhere else...ALL YEAR 'ROUND!!! That being said, sorry I probably can't make it that day. I'm headed out AGAIN on military orders the day of or maybe the next day after. PLEASE POST PICS OF THE EVENT. I enjoy seeing everyone's rides. From V6, to stock, modded, super/turbo'd, custom, and everything in between. Have a blast folks. SoCal style represent!!!
