Best cold air intake.

So my birthday is next week and I'm treating myself to a cold air intake finally. CAI is high on my list. Anyone have any recommendation beside CAI?

Threads like this are little more that a poll of what the members online at the moment have on their car. Give the thread below a look. It discusses the pros and cons of the different types of intakes available for these cars. It should help you make a choice. If you have any questions afterwards feel free to hit me up.

Well, what are you looking for? Do you want a ram air style CAI? Do you want a fenderwell style? Is price a consideration? Do you want something that needs to be tuned? Do you care if you have to relocate your windshield washer fluid reservoir? Do you care about altering the position of your radiator? All these need to be considered, because each different style of CAI will have some affect on one of these. Also, it's not WHAT people have, more important is WHY a person has a particular CAI...

Unbiased advice, if I didn't go with Vararam, I would have went with an underhood style CAI with a scoop that seals itself off from the engine bay when the hood is open and closed and does not require tuning or relocating the washer reservoir. But I went with Vararam. And while most people will spout what they bought simply because they bought it because 100 people all have it and none of them have any idea what the actual advantages/disadvantages are...I will tell you that I chose Vararam because it gets its air source from ram air. Meaning it gets the coldest possible air especially while the car is moving. Any heat from the radiator gets blocked with a heat shield and also gets cooled when the car is in motion. Those are the reasons I went with Vararam. And it looks different than other typical CAIs.

I would give ADM a shot being they just made 1100 hp. through there race intake. How many others can say that. Plus the MAF sensor is inside to get a true reading. Plus it is high quality and made in USA.
