I am dying to get a turbo set up for my V6 but Im concerned about all the headaches I see you guys going through at the moment. Im hoping they get more reliable with these kits in the near future.

Im a bit of a noobie when it comes to turbos, but I was looking at the sts turbo set up, the filter under the rear fender of the car conerns me, how do you keep it from getting wet when it rains? I know its a stupid question but be easy on me lol

The air filter does not get wet in the rain.

The air intake filters are up on top of the wheel wells. They are placed as high as you can physically get them and for additional protection the filters have a extremely fine mesh that goes over the filter element that a very water resistant.

For STS specifically, most are running stock. You can run any headers as the turbo attaches at the rear of the stock exhaust but the stock cast iron exhaust manifolds are recommended.

For the other kits, you would be looking at shorties in order to get the turbos to fit (assuming mid mount).
