What's the Michelin tire that seems to be the best one for my ZL1?

I've heard people talking about a certain Michelin tire that seems to be a much better tire than the F1 brand that comes on our cars.

I'm thinking about selling my near new F1 tires for the Michelins. Can anyone tell me which one and what size for the fronts and rears?

295's?? Vs the stock 285? Why increase when the OEM is available? Just looks?

Probably grip. I went with 315's in the rear vs. 305's. 295's vs. 285's would've been a nice upgrade as well.

Question: With 580hp, what can you never get enough of?

Answer: Grip.

dumb question: will the 305 to 315 increase on the rear affect the speedo's accuracy?

I'm about to order the tires and I want to make sure everything will be okay.

GY F1 G2's are 28.4" O.D., Michelin SS's are 28.7" O.D. You will actually be traveling 1.05% faster than your speedometer shows. The good news is you will actually get 105,634 miles out of your 100,000 mile powertrain warranty. Seriously though your speedo will read 75mph and you'll be doing 79.22mph or in my case the speedo reads 100mph when I'm doing 105.6mph.

All that was based on the rear tires feeding the speedo. If it's the front tires then The GY's and Michelins are only .2" different going from 285's to 295's.
