Angry Problems with sun roof?

Hello everyone i am new to the C5 website as you can see but I own a 2010 L99 Camaro 2SS and i have been having problems with my sun roof..

When I launch my car or even floor it my sun roof cover likes to slide back in place about 1-2 inches revealing the sunroof window, and i dont know about any of you guys but i find this incredibly annoying. If the sun is out then it shines right in my eyes, and if its dark out then every street light i pass gets a nice peek through the crack as well.

Im just wondering if anyone else is having this problem or if its just me.

and if i had a say in how they design the 2012 camaros then i would def put some kind of locking mechanism for the sunroof cover. it prob would only cost $25? to add on to it but totally worth it in my opinion.

What do you all think?

I think you need to take it to the dealer and complain. Have them fix it. Although I don't have a sunroof I don't think it should be doing that.

I always keep that open, but I can try closing it and hammering it and seeing if that does it for me.

If I have the sunroof open and make a phone call (with bluetooth) I get weird feedback about every other time... Have to hang up, close the sunroof and try again.

I have not had any issues with the sunroof cover opening I did had some with the sunroof not wanting to closed. I got to school and had my sunroof open so I wanted to close it before going inside class and it didn't work so I left it like that. When I came out of class around 5 hours later it work and have not had any problems since then.

I would have to agree with caverman and Z28RockStar. Having your sunroof checked would be the easiest way to getting this resolved for you. Hopefully they can get your sunroof working perfectly. If you run into any problems let me know and I'll do what I can for you.
