After new wheel purchase, what to do with stock wheels

Just curious, for those of you that purchased custom wheels, what have you done with your stock wheels? Has anyone been able to trade them in at the time you bought your new wheels? Or are you storing them or have you sold them on the aftermarket?

Thanks

I kept mine....Unless you're pressed for space or hard-up for a few bucks, I'd hang on to them....You never know....

Question- anyone have any advice on changing out wheels - 20s for 22s? Any pros or cons? I have 20s and a friend of mine is trying to talk me into 22s. Does it effect the driving/performance at all?

NOT that question? Yes and Yes. If the 20" or smaller guys c this they don't stop. I have 22" and love them. But have 18" to track it also. If u like them get them.

22" wheels are bigger and heavier, so you will lose some performance. Ideally for the best performance 18" would be the best wheel.

It just depends on what you want, I've seen some Camaros with 22's and they can look good, or they can look bad, it depends on the wheel and offset. For the love of god don't go bigger than 22, it starts looking silly after that, lol.

I kept mine and put all season tires on my factory SS wheels for the winter.
My new chrome wheels run the P/zeros for the summer use only.

Since you are up north....put snow tires on them. (if it is a DD)

I sold mine, and kinda wish I had taken the advice above.
