.000 is a perfect light at some tracks.
Sure the reaction time has no effect on ET but along with the 2.5 second 60ft it played a part in his loss. If the reaction times were in reverse the outcome would have been a real close race with you barely winning.

Good kill! I'm sure he had all kinds of excuses why it was the CAR that lost that race and not HIM.
This! And no matter what! Great win!

Nice kill. I doubt he will be so cocky next time.

I noticed his lane says BIKE for class. Was there mostly bikes running in that lane? If so, it may explain why he had worse traction. Something to keep in mind the next time you race there. Sometimes the lane matters.

Seen that, but not sure why is says bike for that lane.
They had bikes running that night but they used both lanes just like the cars.
I ran several runs in each lane and couldnt tell if one was better than the other.

Guess they just forgot to change it after the last bike day. Anyway, congratulations, way to represent the 5th Gen family.

Great job and nice kill.

I also beat a Boss. Treed the hell out of it. I had an intake and ported TB at the time. Also ran on near bald Goodyear Supercars. This was at Modern Muscle Shootout and the 5th run I have ever made in my life at a drag strip. Left is me. Right is the Boss

Sure it was a a Boss you were racing, or maybe a GT made to look like one? That trap speed for the Boss looks more like what a GT would put down that a Boss. I personally have not seen any a Boss trap less than 111mph.

Thanks man.

His buddy in a 2012 California Special Mustang GT got payback on me afterwards. He knew how to drive better than his boss colleague and ran a 12.7 @117mph. So I got my ass handed to me, couldn't tell you what mods that car had other than loud ass exhaust.

I had some other fun runs in the night.
I ran a BMW 135I, they have the same 300hp twin turbo six found in some the the 3 series. But the 1 series is much smaller and lighter so its a quick little car. We were side bide side most of the run till the top end when I started pulling away. Won that run by 1 tenth and 2mph faster on the trap.
Not sure if it had any mods, I was reading MT got a 13.5 @ 105 out of one stock so maybe not.

Ran a beat down looking C4 Vette with a TPI 350, unknown mods again other than the gutted interior I could see, he ran pretty strong. He was dead even with me through the 1/8th if not a little quicker, I edged him out on the top end but not by much.

Also ran a Acura RSX with some work, little guy put up a decent fight in the 1/8th after that walked away from him. To his credit that was a n/a four cylinder, no turbo supercharger or nitrous oxide. It was one of the best launches I have seen out of a front wheel drive car.

Nice kill man.

Hey since you also in FL and are used to running in similar humid air, is that time about average for you give or take some faster or slower runs?

For a Coyote V1 (2011-2012) 117 MPH trap would be an intake, tune, LT's, catless mids, 3" exhaust and possibly a Boss intake manifold.

In reality it looks like he was also traction plagued, because that MPH should have been a 12.1-12.0X run

Yeah he was spinning, we all were except guys with AWD or Slicks.
OSW is like racing on a ice rink, always been that way on test and tune and street car nights, just part of the going there. Only time they really prep the track good is for race events.

A lot of drivers were even having traction issues through the 1/8th that night. I even got wheel spin a few times on a shift in my slow automatic.

Guy cut a 2.5 60' seriously doubt he was going to extract a good trap out of it.

Damn 2.5 is bad..real bad...

I think Tooslow was talking about the Mustang CamaroDreams raced and posted his time slip for. That Stang had a 2.3 60ft and ran 13.8 @ 107mph.
The Boss I ran had the 2.5 60ft and ran 13.6 @ 113mph.

I seen a new CTSV run 14's the same night I ran the boss, so I agree it's completely possible CamaroDreams did kill a Boss. Car can have all the power in the world but if the driver makes mistakes it doesn't matter.

My friends 2010 6.3 C63 AMG ran a trap of 114mph and then on another night under worse air and a worse 60ft only trapped at 109mph.
Soo many variables at the track it's hard to talk in absolutes concerning et or trap speeds.
