Here's the 3600 Yank that was in my SS flashing to 3750 on a dead hook...

And here's Mike's Yank that started as a 3200 and was supposed to have been restalled to 3600...

And here's Jeff's 3600 Circle D flashing to 4100 on a dead hook!!!

Hey....don't be flashing my goodies to everybody!! Haha jk
Mike needs gearing too which would help bring it out of the hole better!

As far as sponsorship...lol when you figure that one out let all of us know.

So even if Mike's converter were flashing to 3700 like my Yank 3600 was, he'd still be 700 rpm down from your 1e.
Now factor in the shift extension difference....my yank was dropping 1300rpm after the 1-2 and 2-3 and then 1000rpm on the 3-4. I bet that 1e is doing better than that.

I guess the right converter is that critical on a high revving N/A car.

Sounds like the Yank is pretty much as advertised from a dead hook and the Circle D is about 400 rpms higher than advertised from a dead hook. So I would keep that in mind when ordering.

I think that is a lot of it. Doesn't make Yank bad or wrong at all.

Dan you are correct. This is what I was telling Juice and Mike. Ryan's converter is quite a bit more aggressive and will net a much lower ET with his combo than their combo so to expect even close to his time slips would not be feasable especially now that DA is going away. 1e Circle D and slicks are probably .2-.3 all by themselves!! And Ryan's car is putting down some massive power and he's got his car dialed! Takes time to work the kinks out as you know.

Question for you guys who go to the track. Is anyone monitoring their IAT at the starting line and through the end of the quarter mile? If so it would be interesting to know what CAI you are using and if there are any mods to it.
