I WANT LEATHER!! (in my 1SS) HELP!
0-60 in about 6 seconds just doesnt excite me.
35,500 for a 2SS RS doesnt excite my wallet. Go for the 1SS, right? DUH! But.... cloth seats???? 31 grand for a car and sit on thread? I MUST HAVE LEATHER! So where can I get it? Does anyone know of leather seats available that will fit/look good in the Camaro? Or of anyone who wraps seats in leather for reasonable prices? Thanks in advance, gents!

Are you in Killeen? I know there are two shops here that will wrap your seats. My brother-in-law also had his 300C re-done with ostrich skin inserts by an 'underground' shop (no business license, works out of his house). Katskins (I'm sure that's not the correct spelling but I'm too lazy to look) also makes replacement seat covers, not sure if they will make any for the Camaro though...

Was that car just a stock car that you took off the lot?

Totally agree with OP. I had a 6 second 0-60 on my old '02 Altima 3.5SE w/ manual.
When I was stalkin' the Mustang Forums 6 months ago thinkin' about an '08 GT Deluxe (w/o leather) for around $19k new, I saw that many of their members picked up leather seat covers at new take off: http://www.newtakeoff.com/mustang-12.aspx I don't see it there now, but thought it was around $300 for leather for the mustang's front seats. I'm sure there will be aftermarket support here. |

We work with Katskinz and they do a really good job. They can do perforated or two tone, piping, embroidery, the whole 9. Expect to pay at least a grand and be without seats in your car for about 3 or 4 days, but if you NEED leather, that's about your only choice. The other problem is that it will be a while before they will have the seats available as they need a model to make the measurements on.

Obviously not for a 2010 Camaro, but judging by the immense amount of vehicles they offer upholstery for, I'd guess they'll have it soon. This should at least give you a price range to expect. |

Oh and they'll do all the seats, not just the front two.

Their website is www.katzkin.com . They have an installer search and a seat configurator so you can design what you want.
