How hot is your Camaro?

Well it looks like summer has finally arrived with a vengeance, temps have been creeping up the last few days here in Abu Dhabi.

Had to run an errand at lunchtime and noticed the air temp was getting reasonably high. We've been warned it will get hotter as well.

WOW! I've lived here for 51 years and the hottest it's ever been was 117. Let me tell you, that was BRUTAL!

It was about 104 F in our parking lot, but that was heat soak. Actual air temp was only mid to high 90s.

Well you kind of acclimatize and stay indoors for most of the day, and on weekends I try and spend my time about 20m under the sea.
The temps here is also another reason why I chose SW as a colour.

At 6pm this evening it was still reading 44C, humidity is pretty bad as well. Those temps are why the F1 GP is not held until November over here, and the boys from Topgear only tend to film in the winter when they want to race cars through the desert or downtown Abu Dhabi.

I'd heard Kuwait was even hotter at the moment. Remote start is a real godsend.

I've been there done that.. Don't think I can handle that heat anymore. I tried to tell people how hot it can get in other places. They never believed me. They think 100ºF is hot.

haha you hear that one alot up here about the cold. I grew up in Southern Ontario and -20*C feels much worse there than here because of the humidity. But out west here it gets to -60*C and people back home are like "at least its a dry cold"

EFF you ... i don't care how dry it is -60*C is effing cold

same for the plusses I wouldn't survive in mid +50*C weather. No way no how.
