That's a lot of money for exclusivity and exhibition drag racing. But I would do the exact same thing if I had the money. Unfortunately I'm poor and jealous.

Also, I have heard that GM will be coming out with a GM catalog of COPO parts in case you want to build your own, but so far I don't think the catalog has been released just yet.
Here you go! It's all you need to build a COPO/ZL-1 street brawler for street, strip or track. Just click last box on right to download the catalog or print it. It's the "street, strip or track" box. Also no pricing is stated in it yet. But this is what you have to look forward to.

Man, that is not even close to what they are talking about!!! And you'll need a lot more than just what is in the Chevrolet Performance catalog. This is what they're talking about (GM Part Number: 88958767), not yet released.

Gotcha! I wasn't sure if he meant purely a track driven car or copo style street machine. In that case yea def can't build a copo from the mag. But I'd imagine if you could build it with all parts for sake that it'd probably cost around 70k+if you did everything yourself? Isn't the shell alone 10k? The engine depending on which you want if its turn key with a blower I'd say minimum 10k not including harness ect. You're already about 20-25k shell & engine alone no? Tires, wheels suspension, tranny, gauges, roll cage, axles, interior, paint and I've still left out so much more that I'd assume its closer to 90k if you built one from the ground up minus labor charges.
