You know you have a detailing addiction when...

You have no socks left to wear, and still wash your microfiber towels instead. Hey it's getting into the 50's here so I can bare foot it as long as I can wash my car!

Anyone else with a detailing addiction?

Even worse if you have no socks because you used them to clean your calipers

I broke my ankle and sprained my wrist playing basketball on Saturday.

Didn't stop me from hobbling out to wash the pollen off my car yesterday :-)

I spent 3 full days, washing, claying, polishing and waxing. Car hasn't left the garage in 2 weeks, and I still find myself going out there every day to make sure it hasn't gotten dirty. I've been searching the web for a Detailers Anonymous support group, haven't come up with anything yet.

I thought I might add to this list. You know you have an addiction when you start posting on the 5th gen sub forum about swirls - http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...9&postcount=25

That still bothers me more than the accident

I should have posted the link of the swirls as the pic did not come up - http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...7&postcount=20

Am I wrong here? Hey half the problem is admitting it, in which I have already done to my wife when I first bought this car. She's a probation officer, so she knows its a healthier addiction than drugs and alcohol.

Injured both at the same time? That must have been quite a spill.

Or that "bounty program" has migrated into basketball.

OP, hope you have a speedy recovery.

Had sinus surgery last May. Took an extra day off in recovery so I could clean, seal, glaze and wax the 2010! I was shocked in the fall when I put it away and did all my LSP again to find out the Adams Brilliant Glaze smelled like coconut.

Also, on a regular basis given the choice between cutting grass or cleaning the car,, car wins every time.

This Friday and Saturday I am burning 20 hours of vacation to detail my Camaro and the wife's Eclipe. I am also giving the kids some extra spending money so they stay away while I am working!

I will add another to the list.

You know it's bad when you even wash your wife's Nissan Juke(I call it a Joke), just to make your car look good!

Crappy pic - damn Blackberry
