V6 vs V8 transmission bolt pattern

Anyone know if the bolt pattern on the V6 and V8 transmissions are the same? I am wondering if a TR6060 in the V6 would be possible. In theory it would make sense. I think the V6 and V8 mustangs share the same transmissions.

My main concern is putting money into this car and the trans crapping out again.. Toyota guys are wondering the same thing in their X-Runners with the AY6.

Thanks!

From gm media images the autos look like the bolts are in the same place for the 6. However the stock picture of the ay6 is backwards compared to the tr6060. From those pictures i cant tell either way. Ill post up if i find where i downloaded them to.

those are just generic pics,, look at the v8 auto it doesnt even match the v8 manual trans bell housing and they both should be the same

its simple the v6 is a totally different bellhousing than the v8

Im not saying they are or arent. They are from media.gm.com and full sizes have rpo option codes on them. The different tr6060 pictures on there arent all the same.
