Where to buy car detailing products in the GTA

Keep reading in the cosmetics forum about all the great detailing products to keep the Camaro's looking good. So I started thinking where does everybody in the Greater Toronto Are buy their products?

Online? Canadian Tire? Parts Source? Other?

It all depends of what products your're looking for. You know all the traditional ones (Meguire's, Mother's, etc.) are available at all the above locations you mentioned.

However, if you want the expensive, professional products, than you have no choice, but to order on line. Bottom line, what type of money are you willing to spend, way the options. Let's face reality, they're all superior products out there, over the counter & online, but online products are more expense, and carry delivery charges, etc.

If it sounds like I'm favoring the over the counter products, I'm not ashamed to say, YES! I've been a Meguire's customer for years, even before ever owning a sports car. My daily drivers have always loved it, and looked good, however, the choice is yours.

I was at CTC yesterday and they had the Voodoo line of products on sale at greatly reduced prices. These are endorsed by Dale Jr. so I thought I'd give them a try. If I don't like the results it's time to break out the plastic and place an order with Zaino.

Zaino products are also available at most locations of "The Barber's Chair" barber shops. But they mark each item up $2-3. If you're looking for 1 or 2 it's cheaper than shipping. But beyond that you're better to order on-line. FYI - the local Zaino Canada distributor is located in Guelph (although he's moved locations once or twice). He will do pick-ups to save the shipping. I tried once to organize a GB but there wasn't much interest. Of course I didn't try very hard.....

Myself i have so little time i just use otc spray on/wipe off wax by megs after washing it in a wash bay. The whole thing takes me about an hour. The options out there are insane really. If i get more time the pro line of choice is adams.

No need for cleaning products, you just need to park next to Frank at a show! He "de-water spotted" the "CAMARO" side logos on my car last year

Also, if you are a CCFBG member, there are discounts on items at PartSource. I've saved $$ on tire shine and detailer a few times.

I have Adams Products for washing the exterior of my Camaro. Believe it or not, I ABSOLUTELY *LOVE* Meguire's with ScotchGuard for cleaning my interior. I've looked at Crappy Tire here in Belleville and Napanee and they don't carry that Meguire's with ScotchGuard....only the regular Mequire's (I have that and I don't like it and only use it for the door sills).

BTW the Meguire's I'm talking about has a little white circle on the lower right side with the words "ScotchGuard 3M Protectant. Where can I buy it?

I purchased the adams products as well. I am happy with it, good products. I have not used the wax just yet but the car soap, detail spray, and the brilliant glaze really makes it pop.

Im a sales rep for a parts supplier and many of my customers are detailers so I have access to professional items. Malco, chemicals guys etc. I have also used adamspolishes.ca and will continue to do so for certain items.
A lot of over the counter products are really good too. Auto glym has some great products (avail at CTC) their resin polish works great for example.
