5th Gen owners, what other Gen would you like to add?
As the title says... What other Gen would you like to ADD to your collection of Camaros...
I assume 1st Gen will run away with this but I personally love the 3rd Gen (IROC Z28) and would add it in a heartbeat if I could... |

Ive owned everything but a first gen. So I guess that. Personally 70-72 are my favorite.

I started with a few 69's, had a 79', then got a 99. I thought it would be cool to have all 9's....then they missed the boat by one year on the 5th gen. I stopped caring after that.

My first car was a 68 Camaro with a S6 and a Powerglide trany. Loved it so much I had to replace the engine with a 327 and a 350 turbo trany 2 years later. Had to sell it when my son was born. Now he is 16 and gets to learn how to drive a stick on my 5th Gen!

I'd like one of each, but I miss my 4th gen...
Not that I would trade the 2010 for it. I just miss it.

I used to have a '96 V6. I now have an red '83 Sporte Coupe and '10 IOM SS. What I really want to add to the collection is a '97 SS 30th anneversary, white with orange stripes, complete with the Houndstooth interior. That car is just bad a$$! Maybe in a few years!

I like one from each generation in the same if not similar colors. All bright/medium blue.

have the 79 Z28 that matches the 10 2SS/RS in color scheme (black with orange stripes), an 01 SOM Z28, so my collection only needs a 1st gen, a third gen 87 IROC (maroon to be specific) and a split bumper Z28 (blue with white stripes) to be complete........................

I had friends in high school with 1st gen Camaro's and they were the coolest thing on wheels then.
With the return of gen 5 they are again!

Have a 1st gen, but would love to have a 2nd gen as well...70 to 73 that is.

Not surprised the 1st gen is on top of the poll, but i still must go for the 3rd gen 87 - 91 because that was my first car in high school 7 yrs ago and boy did i drop plenty of panties. Nothing like Friday nights cruising with your boys in 5-6 camaros. Those were the days.

to be honest I am happy with what I have now...
![]() ![]() but if I could add another to the stable I think it would be a 2nd Gen preferably a 71½ to 73. |

I've had 1 of each gen at the same time. The 5th is enough for me now.

Blue '69 would be nice, saw one at a car show at Thomas Chevrolet in Media, PA last fall. I'm pretty sure that won't be happening anytime soon, though.
