Had Mine for over a year now....... only issue was cracks in the leather on the steering wheel. Not sure if it was the protectant I asked the car wash NOT to put on (they did anyway) but its been replaced under warranty so i didn't concider it a problem at all.

yeah i've looked into it, but haven't taken any serious actions. they either want you to have to go back to the dealer multiple times to fix the same problem... or a complete list of things that have gone wrong, combined with not having your car (stuck at the dealer for fixes) for a certain amount of time within an 18 month period.

i went to the dealer with this complaint. the dooshbag technician wrote down "unable to duplicate the issue at this time" on the paperwork and told me that when he checked it, it was fine... well DUH! i reset the date before i dropped it off at the dealer. i had to come on C5 and print out one of the bulletins posted on here about this problem and bring it in to them. they did some "re-calibration", haven't started my Camaro all week... will let you know if it acts up again.

#16... I use a Cruzer 4GB zip drive and it carries over songs I played before. Not sure why you would need to reselect songs.
no slosh, no bang, but a pulsating drone/hum that seemed to change with wheel speed.

yeah man, those Sandisk drives are good. but i don't know how you keep your music organized on it, or if you just copy and paste a bunch of random songs that you like to it... but i keep everything ultra organized... ID Tag's are filled out properly, file names are properly labeled, and every album in a separate folder.

yeah, and i like how the fuzz tries to tell you that you can't have your tinted windows so dark - because every window has a light uv tint on it already... BS... i've gotten sunburns from long drives.

After having mine for 2 months I have a rear seal oil leak. Apparently it's pretty popular in chevy cars... You'd think they would do something about it by now.

Mine does this too... but then again I have no idea how it is supposed to opperate because after 5 weeks the dealer has yet to get me my owners manual!!!

well i'm sure it's operating as it was designed to operate... but it's a crappy design, and somebody should have lost their job over it.

hmmmmmmm... maybe it should have been delivered with the car?

if the dealer has several Camaro's on the lot, then there is no excuse for you not having your owner's manual. there is VITAL information in there... stuff that could be held against you if you do something improperly.

#11 - the radio display would not keep the proper date. it would always be off by a few days, every couple months. Time is OK, had car 9 months.

GM quality is spotty. We had 3 Solstices. Two were perfect, and the other was a total lemon. Everything went wrong or fell off of it. 25 warranty visits, an average of one every 3 weeks. Finally, I gave up and traded it off. If they can't get yours fixed once and for all, you might want to do the same thing. It will keep you from going homicidal.

#3 - black plastic/rubber exterior window molding around the small triangle window on the driver's side was peeling up on its own. they glued it back down.

I had a inch piece on the passenger side molding come off, when i was washing it.

#4 - loose spoiler. had two nuts rolling around in my trunk lid. took 3 different visits to have this issue corrected.

Same issue.

Alignment was messed up off the lot, had to pay to fix alignment, 60 bucks

Have had the spoiler bolt problem twice until my husband put lock tite on himself
Have had tires road tested for vibration at higher speeds sterring wheel shake-rebalanced tires at 8300
Had new transmission at 8500 miles noise in first and second
Had passenger side tie-rod end replaced at 8300
Had rear end fluid changed and they claimed posi clutches adjusted at about 10500 same noise you had
my ac fan whistles at the two highest speeds but I'm not willing to let them tear my dash apart for that I just turn up the radio
My USB sometimes looses connection with my IPOD but they have told me there is nothing wrong with the car
my front red SS emblem paint peeled got replaced at 9000
I have clunking in front struts when going over bumpy roads again they tell me it's normal

That's my list.

WOW Im sorry to hear of such a long list of problems Ive had my 2SS RS for 11 months and have 7000 miles with no problems. My wife has a V6 and the only problem she had was loose spoiler nuts which I replaced with loc nuts and she has 6500 miles on hers.

Over 15k on mine and no problems either. Yours may qualify for an exchange under the "Lemon Law" . . . wouldn't hurt to ask about it if you're that unhappy about it.
Good luck.

Paint chipping problem under the rear wing is the only problem i had. The dealer said he's never heard of this, sure.... They replaced the trunk TWICE with a 2011 which supposably has a spacer to stop the chipping.

I noticed the other day my date was off -- but I can't say 100% that it hasn't always been off -- I never turn the radio off so I never actually see the date. I'm pretty sure it was right before but....it's minor to me - the radio's always on so I don't care if the date gets messed up now and again...I'm pretty sure I know what day it is anyway....

My USB has issues connecting to my iTouch, but that's b/c the USB was programmed using the last technology and not expectant of new technology and Apple went and changed all their ports on all the new products just to get more $$ and make people but new sht so....I just unplug and re-plug it back in when it doesn't connect -- pain in the arse but whatever.

The HVAC recall was on my car too but they didn't find anything wrong so....

Only thing I really care about that irritates me are the friggen squealing brakes that they refused to fix - come to find out there was a TSB on it and they basically just told me "oh well"....I'm too lazy to go them tho since it's out of my way so....

Otherwise - I mean... I think my car's perfect. I could care less about the date thing or the USB (I mean it's annoying but easily fixable)....

Edit -- and I'll hit a year in two weeks and have 22k miles on it so....
