Wow, just made 85,850.00

Well not exactly made but refinaced house from 5.5 to 4.375, knocked off 5 years of house payment also and payment went up only 5.00 a month. But just cutting the 5 years off saved me 85,850.00 plus I will still savings from lower interest rate.

Well done!

I just did the same thing switching from a 30 year to a 15 year, minimal increase in monthly payment ($50.00/month). Saved $95,000 in interest over the life of the loan and knocked 10 years off the mortgage.

Will the cool thing is we did not know it but we where approved to do this at no cost. Plus Kathie can now retire at 67 instead of 72. Kind of cool.

Nah would still need to win the lottery or something like that for the Z28. Think I will just mod the Bee Bee. Just is going to feel good at lowering our retirement some.
