I Think some have canceled their orders to get camaros big brother. But if others have canceled then they are probably not here no more.

I did cancel my order. I pre-ordered a 2SS, but found a 2006 Vette and bought it instead. I had ordered it from a local dealer in Ft Leavenworth Kansas. I had put down a $1000 deposit. The dealership was excellent and gave me the deposit back. I think if the order had already been inputted and a VIN assigned, they would not have given it back to me. OBTW this occured about a week ago.

NOT ME = I'm not cancelling my order. I am a Certified Welding Inspector. I welded in fabrication and field construction for 30 years. Mostly in refineries, chemical plants and power plants. Now I do inspection work in the same kind of places. I've worked in 38 states, Alaska, Carribean and Antarctica.

Hey - Camaro Corvette

Just because I decided to go with the right side of your name, I'm still loving the left side, not going anywhere. I will have a 2SS in the garage before I die. Bank on it.

I cancelled mine on November 21st, and on November 22nd bought my Vette. My dealer was starting to look shaky when they asked for a larger deposit than the contract originally stated, so I pullled out. Luckily, I received a check for my deposit within a few days. Never been happier with a car either.

I did, but it was to buy a current GM so they didn't even blink, they just applied it to the other car.

the dealership i ordered from has over 10 alotments available. They have been very good to me with this deal and three previous purchases. If anyone is looking for a dealer, this one is a good one.
Order it here, I'll pick you up at the airport, then you can drive it home!!!!

I canceled my first order to place an order with another dealer. I was told by the second dealer (both are in Virginia) that state law mandated a full refund of my deposit. I'm no lawyer so if ths is true or not I don't know but I have no reason to believe he'd make that statement without prior knowledge. The first dealer has "graciously accepted my cancellation with a full refind". Hmph. Still waiting for it.
