Launch Control or Foot Control

Going to the track for the first time and was planning my launch technique. I have a M6 ls3 and i know my car has the "launch control" but I have noticed some people have really hurt their cars using it. I have heard other methods such as revving to 3k and working the clutch. What works best for you guys? And also, what psi should I run in the rear tires? 26psi? Thanks for your input!

When I go to the track I turn the launch control on but just launch on my own. Nice thing about it is if you accidentally spin way to much it will help you out a little. If you don't spin too much it won't step in at all. Just use it as a just in case type of thing
