Unhappy Low oil pressure TSB

I have low oil pressure at idle and when I first start up in the morning I can hear something like lifters clacking for about 20 seconds. The oil is full and there are no leaks. Should I take it to the dealer or is this normal?

You don't mention if you have a V6 or a V8.
I have a V6 and have a slight "ticking" noise all the time.
I have been told this is normal.
I can't speak for the V8.

I haven't heard of any TSB's for low oil pressure, but if you are absolutely sure you have an oil pressure problem, you should take it to the dealer.

The oil pressure goes from half way between 0 & 30 at idle and around 50 while driving.

take it in -
i had my oil bypass valve worked on because of the TSB

- 2 weeks later had a similar problem pop back up and now its looking like my engine may be shot as they cant find where the oil pressure problem is coming from. Been in the shop for 2 weeks now and still no resolution....

V6 is Direct Injection (DI). The DI high pressure pump often makes a ticking sound, which is normal.

V8 isn't DI, so it shouldn't have the same tick.
