you can retain your stock knob with the aftermarket Hurst unit if you choose!

Booo! I h8 the factory shift knob. Feels horrible and balky in the palm of my hand. I see this is the same, only the trows are shorter (which is a good thing). Would have to get an aftermarket knob.

I have the LSR one with stock shift knob...shorter throw than the factory hurst, still looks stock. Can swap between a knob.

I installed my Barton as well and get that wobble. Never thought that was abnormal before though. There's no real way to mess up a shifter install though, and have it still work that is.

Anyone have a video of a NON wobbly knob?

I like the look of the factory installed shifter, gonna have to order one for mine. I've always liked the Hurst shifters, but am not a fan of the Qball.

Holy crap, something is definetly not right.
Mine has absolutly no side to side wobble in it what so ever.
I would foreward your video to Hurst and see what they say.

I wanted a hurst shifter but this whole wobble issue is making me think otherwise.

anyone try the SLP short throw? http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=60045A

of course its only 20% reduction and doesn't come with as much but at less than half the hurst price.
