Like really, the V6 camaro....i feel it can't beat any other sport V6 car

maybe just the v6 challenger,

Hyundai's 2010 Genesis is faster

350Z is faster

any infinite V6 car is faster

Altima coupe is faster too i guess

the new 2011 V6 mustang is faster

The V6 camaro is only a showcar, it looks nice, that all i guess

Um..its faster than any pre 2011 Mustang V6..its faster than the Challenger V6, its faster than ALOT of V6's..

you only said 2 cars (i mentioned one of them already) and i guess its faster than pre 2011 mustangs because they are old?

It really doesn't matter if it's a V-8 or a V-6 ,someone will always be faster. Your looks way cooler than any of the ones you listed so who cares.

since its sport(or muscle) car that has performance section on forum and people are supercharging and turbocharging their cars and comparing mean they care, its you who don't care.

that true, someone will always be faster, but in the V6 camaro, it seems everybody is faster

i feel sad for the v6 challenger now

No I care, I just don't care if someone has something faster. There will always be something faster. You Supercharge for the fun factor, not "my balls are bigger than yours" factor.

If you bought the V6 than obviously performance wasn't your top focus, I find it amazing that people these days consider a car that runs a 14.3 quarter mile slow (which I guess is a fair statement when you consider the amount of HP they put in 'grocery getters' these days), you have to remember that the V6's you mentioned competed directly against V8's in their respective years and were some of the best engines around. The V6 camaro is no slouch but anytime you begin to compare you've already lost, as BackinBlackSS stated perfectly, there's always a faster car out there. Take pride in your car, make it unique in the way you see fit and love it for how it is, if you have the resources turbo or supercharge it, but put things into perspective- you bought the V6 model not the V8

I fully get what the OP is saying. Sure if you wanted a faster car then buy the V8. But that can be said for the other models too.

He wants to know why it seems the Camaro is at the back of the pack in the performance arena.

I will say that I believe it is because the V6 model of the Camaro wasn't focused on performance at all, it is all about the look.

LS/LT = Look fast
SS= Be fast

Is the 2010 Mustang old? They are still on dealers lots. If you wanted a performance car, you started with the wrong base. Besides, what track are you racing at?

The 1990-1992 350tpi cars (1990 was still an iroc) could run as low as 13.9-14.0 in stock form and trapped as high as 98-99.

It would spank every 305 iroc no doubt. The 350 tpi in the 86-89 cars had a little less horsepower and would be about equal with the new 6. But I would think the 90-92 had an edge.

and i am not comparing the V6 to performance car, i am comparing it to other cars that are in the same arena, Other V6s, not an SRT8 or SS

The V6 camaro is only a showcar, it looks nice, that all i guess showcar? No one hangs out the window of their car taking pictures on their cell phones of V6 Mustangs, Genesis coupes, Altimas and Infinities. Have you driven your 1LT hard?
