Hey Doug! I have probably seen you before at the OCC Nationals. I have been to everyone except the first one. Wouldn't miss it, especially since it is in my hometown again this year.

Well, I'm sorry to say, it's been a while since we've been there. We went to several when the show was in Woodstock, and the first year it was in St. Catharines. Since then, it's conflicted with the Hot Rod Power Tour. But this year, we're not going on the HRPT, so we're hoping to be able to make the OCC show again.

Well, guess I'm pretty new here. To give a brief intro and as some of you may know; I'm a larger than life car nut, love cars of all kinds though I tend to sway more towards the Germans as I'm fascinated by the depth of engineering and superb driving dynamics. Just the same I'm American and there's a huge sense of pride I get from muscle cars, more specifically GM automobiles. I've been around GM's all my natural life. My Mom had a Camaro back in the day (long before I got here), and my Grandpa had a C3 Vette I was fortunate to get a ride in when I was a kid before he sold it. So there's a sense of attachment, an emotional connection. As the rest of you I'm looking forward to the launch of the new 5th gen Camaro which will hopefully reignite those feelings of excitement.

Im a big fan of all the car companys that are bringing back the classics. Wanted to learn more about the new Camaro addition and look forward to getting my hands on one. I would like to get an 09 camaro silver of course, and have 2 40th anniversary cars in my stable, I think it would be a very nice start to a collection.

Gotta Have one.....
I have been watching this car since the first pictures of it came out. Until then I had never really been a "Camaro Guy". Yesterday I went to the local dealer for some information. From what the salesman told me, they will be coming out next spring and if that is true I will be able to pre-order sometime this fall.....Novemberish. I put myself on the short list for more information as he gets it and will keep all posted. |

New guy here. I'm a Mustang man so don't kill me. I grew up around Camaros though, and I am very much looking forward to the new Camaro. In fact my next car will without a doubt be a new Camaro SS.
Don't get me wrong, I like my Mustang and it is fairly fast, but 281 cubes is just not enough for me. I've coaxed about 310 rwhp out of it, but I can't wait to see what I can do with a new Camaro when it comes out. As my fellow Mustang fans would say I am planning on a move to the dark side. |

Ya your welcome here, so injoy yourself, and take a ride on the dark side. So when you get your new camaro you can blow all of your mustang friends off the road.

Thanks all, the only problem is that we gotta wait so long for the new Camaro to come out, but it will be worth the wait I'm sure.

Hi
My first post, very interested in your reactions to the new Camaro. My brother said a co-worker of his saw the concept at at Boston auto show and did not like it. I have read one person who saw it in Toronto and said it was okay, minus the front grille. I have a little concern about that, plus the extensive use of molding over the rear quarter panels. Like to know who else has seen this care live.
