Z28--->iroc upgrade

to upgrade the handling of my 87 z28 to iroc, i am guessing i need to replace shocks and springs (front and rear), the sway bars and of course the tires. but some years were lowered a bit, is that all in the springs? and is there anything else i am missing?
sorry for all the questions but i am trying to get all my research done now while the weather is still -30*C so i will have all my awnsers when the weather warms enough to get some work done

Try thirdgen.org. Tons of good info there. Better than here. There is no BS over there, no socializing either. If it's not relative to a 3rd gen, it gets deleted.

I am not aware of any being lower but there were other options through out the years.

Pre 1988 you could get a Z28 OR an IROC which was an upgrade to a Z28. Then they dropped the stand alone Z28 for 1988 and it was an IROC-Z. Mine is an IROC-Z.
