Had my headers installed there and they did a good job but that was a few months ago. Was going to get a maggie and tune from them but have recently received a few PMs about folks having issues such as this. I am going to go with ADM. Just have to get time to call Andy.

Did they use your diablo handheld tuner and if so, did they load the "CAM" tune in it? Sounds like something happened and the stock tune was put back in the car?

Look forwards to seeing your car at the shop. Thanks for the vote of confidence!

No such animal as a "CAM" tune in a heldhand. They are all referred to as "CANed" tunes.

I keep thinking of the seinfeld episode about use of explanation points.

I would like to hear their side of the story, but it definately sounds like you got screwed.

I don't think they have a valid counter argument. He HP went down after a major bolt on and retune?

They screwed him.

As there is quite a Few good shops in Dallas Fort worth the only one I have trusted my car with ( and im picky ) is ADM performance.
In my opinion Tuning/computer work is the most important part of the job I would recommend Andy/Pat to anyone when it comes to Tuning for sure.

they are up front with you and if there is any problems they stand behind there work and make it perfect and you HAPPY

if I had to go somewhere else I would say 21stcentury however as you probably know I had everything done at ADM and im loving every moment behind the wheel .

I have been an ADM customer for many years. As of today he only works on LS- powered cars which is his area of concentration. No mustangs, no challengers, no imports. He has tuned and wrenched a few blown customers Cadillac LSA powered CTS-V's. This is the powerplant coming in a year in the Z-28 so he is gaining much experitse before the Z car gets here. My point is that ADM is a dedicated LS powered Camaro 5 specialist located in a central U.S. DFW location. Those of us living local DFW are very lucky to have a quality Camaro 5 tuner/builder here local or close enough for others to send their car from out of state to ADM. In life, it is really good to have choices.

Ever think of going back to the shop with the car? Shit happens man, Ive went to adjust things on my car and my touch pad on my laptop has changed a table I had no intention to touch before. I drove my car and I was like WTF is going on? I looked at my tune and found things changed unintentionally.

LOL .. yes, but you can load a tune in it and then load it into your car .. I was referring to the tune the initial shop did for the car when the cam was put in it .. When I had my 04 cobra, I had all of the tunes stored on my PC including my stock one. I could take any of these load them back onto the Diablo tuner and load it into my car.

I noticed this too, but my head was hurting sooo BAD i decided to wait to say something

I believe a cam only car should be at a 12.x a/f ratio at WOT

I went and re-read your first post (which btw...you should go back and split into paragraphs for easier reading) and I had another question....just out of curiosity.

So he suggested that you install a cam and do that without adding LT headers first? I would've thought the cam would not make 40 hp without letting it breath more than the factory headers would.

To me....that same $2k should've gone towards a set of LTs and a tune. Then that sets the stage for a nice cam down the road. To me that's not a good recommendation to do a cam before doing LTs....not that it can't be done but just seems like it's out of order to me. LTs first....then a cam.

That's the plan I have at least.
