Thanks V6 for safe hard rain commute

Every day brings a new reason to love my RubyCamaro. Today was the best in a while. I drive about 40 miles through parts of 3 counties from rural highways to city streets. Today it was raining very hard for the entire commute. The roads were standing with 1-3 inches (solid) of water plus intermittant ponding of 6-12 inches deepest on the right side of the road. Traffic was traveling at between 40 & 50 MPH. My wonderful V6 never wavered, shimmied or hydroplaned one bit! I could feel the wheels hit the deepest puddles briefly then it was like they were not there. I assume the traction control kept my commute safe. It felt so good to have confidence my Camaro would keep me safe as long as I used good common sense in my driving. Thank you Camaro design team for my beloved daily driver!!

Since ive gotten my camaro it seems like the most rain we have gotten is just a sprinkle. Really wouldnt mind a bit of a hard rain but its been weeks since we've gotten anything serious.

I've gotten cought up in several tropical downpours this summer in both cars. Both are solid as a rock in the rain and never wavered, traction and braking is top notch ...

Someone thought that summer only tires wouldn't perform well in the rain. I never had any problems, and never went through any of the stuff you did.

I have driven the camaro in 6 inches of unplowed snow with winter tires, and was very impressed with it.

I think on top of that traction control that big body weight pays off to keep it firmly planted.

Still wouldn't get silly with wrong set of tires on.
