New Specter GTZ Extractor Hood

Specter Werkes Camaro GTZ Extractor Hood

Specter Werkes Camaro GTZ Extractor Hood

The Specter GTZ Camaro heat extractor hood not only adds an aggressive look, it also releases high pressure air and heat from the engine bay while negating front end lift. Hood design is understated, yet extremely functional, stock height is retained not to inhibit driver’s visibility.
Built using ACS’s proprietary RTM process (Resin Transfer Molding) it is injected using continuous glass mat and a specially formulated vinyl-ester resin to meet strict durability standards. Hood inner is trimmed using a precision CNC water jet cutter while the panels are bonded using OE spec adhesive. The GTZ hood is then hand finished ready for final prep. Reinforced hardware is incorporated in the design for safety and warrant a perfect fit on any 2010+ Camaro.

The Specter Werkes GTZ hood is a direct bolt on and includes all necessary hardware including grill screen and bezel for easy installation.
Hood is in production and initial shipments will be available in the coming weeks.

I truly thought I had found a replacement for the impossible to find Revolutions hood....only to discover the maker of this hood who no doubt in my mind has to be a direct descendant Rumpelstiltskin, is charging an arm, leg, and torso for this hood. It is gorgeous, but B**ch please!

Thanks,

Hood was designed by Specter Werkes, we are manufacturing it for them under private label contract. Similar to our other products the hood is RTM molded, this means resin is injected in a heavy mold (5000+ lbs) installed in a large press under pressure. Final result is a durable high quality composite panel. Panel composition is consistent throughout, this means panel will not sink and distort over time. We then use robots for cutting and assembly.

Unlike any other products out there each hood is hand prepped and primed twice. No gelcoats are used, simply automotive grade primer, same process and materials we have used on our OEM programs. It may cost a little more to produce the hood this way, but we have proven our products are easy to install and will last for years to come.

Feel free to ask questions, i did receive PM's about our process, here is an example of how our panels are produced.

I'm sure these are great but I can get the other hood I like, with a carbon fiber center AND paint AND shipping for less than this one starts at. Maybe a group buy or discount will come about later on and I can consider this one.

That hood would not look that bad with the single rally stripe.
