Justin,

Do the strips use a power inverter like the CCFL tubes?

No, they connect to direct 12V power.

for the camaro footwell lighting, on your website it says SMD (free upgrade for limited time). what does MSD mean and how is it different than the previous camaro footwell lighting you guys had?

SMD is surface mount diodes and is an LED and preferred. The older style cathode style lighting is more prone to failure and more easy to break. Since the SMD strips are on a flexible strip it is also much easier to install. Hope that helps.

OK I finally got all my AAC ABL blue lighting installed and the above pics from AAC are a bit overexposed and NOT realistic of what you can expect. I installed front and rear footwells and the dome and trunk LED's. The blue color is perfect in color and intensity and I am very happy with my products! Thanks Justin.

Here are a few pics of mine installed. Note this is really hard to photograph!

We had some instances of passengers kicking and breaking the CCFL so we are offer SMD which can not break when kicked.

One minor complaint from me...

my Dome/Trunk LEDS....... definitely not the aqua blue/green like the other ABL lights.... certainly a blue/blue

Thats because they have white paper floor mats in (like from the shop) so there is a whole lot more light reflected up

actually its not paper mats in my car they are clear plastic and they do reflect a ton of the light. just like a previous poster said it is kinds hard to photograph and the black strip someone pointed out is a lanyard. i love this mod and it is a piece of cake to install
