Clutch Feel Question

I recently bought a 2011 2SS/RS with a T6060, and am not happy with the lack of pedal effort and engagement feel to the clutch. My old G8 GXP was the exact same, but I'd assumed that GM would give the Camaro a more performance feeling clutch. I have a T6060 in my GT500 and the clutch feels perfect, much heavier and lots of feel. I'm not going to race the Camaro, I have race cars if I want to do that, but it will see some spirited street driving. I don't necessarily need a whole new clutch, but I sure want to find a way to give this car a clutch that feels more old school, not old lady. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Before someone tells me to do a search, I have been for hours and haven't found any topics addressing this question. I am a bit worried to see the same clutch/tranny problems here that people on the G8 forum were experiencing.

TIA

John

Gotta love modern technology... its the tranny you will have to change... might be cheaper to get a different car..

Uh, OK, I have a problem with the way the clutch feels, but it has nothing to do with the clutch it's actually the transmission?

If that is even remotely possible, why do I have the same tranny in a different car and the clutch is excellent?

You miss my point.. The feel of the clutch IS the transmission. Its the way the valving is done in the transmission... steps up to LBS so your having do do less work. Apparently GM has it at a different setting. I'm not a tranny guy so i dunno how all the pressures work inside, but it's obviously the way the valving is set up. I like that i don't have to man-handle the transmission. just my .02 Good luck getting it to feel they way you want it to.

You'll get used to it . . . it feels better once it gets some work . . . and I resent the "old lady" remark. lol
