ACS Camaro with T3 fascia and SS9 Hood

We have a post in the media section, none here in the Sponsor / Exterior section.

For reference below is a link of the original thread, thanks to all our customers who have posted their installs !

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86854

Already producing some of the most popular Camaro hoods on the market, ACS is proud to offer Camaro enthusiasts the ultimate in personalization; the ACS T3 front fascia components. Shown is ACS's development Camaro with the ACS T3 Fascia and SS9 Modular hood with a carbon insert.

ACS T3 fascia is a replacement front bumper assembly with aggressive cooling ports and splitter. Cooling ports offer an efficient way to duct cold air to the front brakes or any CAI system. T3 Splitter is included with cooling channels increasing the engine’s cooling capacity by delivering cold air to the radiator. Parts are manufactured in ACS's proprietary process, same process used to manufacture over 70 000 parts for the OEM's.

T3 Front fascia can be installed on both V6 and V8 Camaros. Includes T3 cooling ports and splitter installed on a Genuine GM SS bumper.

Available individually as DIY kits are also;

- T3 Splitter; designed for Camaro SS bumpers and installed with a series of fasteners. Installation time is 10-15 minutes.

- T3 ports; includes cooling ports with backing mounting rings, trimming template and required hardware. Installation does require the front fascia to be trimmed. Installation should be done by a qualified installer in approximately 2 hours.

T3 components can be installed on any SS front bumper.

The SS9 hood is manufactured in ACS’s validated RTM process. Hood features a domed cowl higher than stock and available with a choice of 3 interchangeable hood inserts or in its basic form; a sleeper high rise version.

The polycarbonate window insert lets you show off your engine covers or better yet showcase your top mount supercharger. Heat extractor insert will evacuate heat from the engine compartment to improve performance. Heading to a car show, still want to keep a stealth look, install the carbon insert, this will instantly offer a two tone scheme, yet letting people know there is something special underneath. ACS inserts can be stored in your trunk and are all interchangeable on the SS9 hood; installation can be done alone and in minutes.

Our instructions guide you for a DRL (daytime running light) set up. You can easily have the installer wire them so they are on day and night.

LED lights are optional and sold separately.

Some use their halos as dayligths.

Does the front bumper need to be removed to install the T3 ports?

And can I get the ports in Satin black to match the ACS splitter?

The ports are not offered in Satin black finish, i recommend first installing and then painting. Hence no pre-painted ports.

Will the hood ports work with my Roto-Fab cold air intake?

Can I buy just the hood ports without the other pieces?

Pricing will be released as item becomes available. No data is available at this point, but do expect some temp drops...

Ports will only be sold as individual DIY kits or replacement hood assemblies.

Would the hood need to be repainted after installation of ports?

I am curious if ACS plans on maybe making something that fit inside the T3 inserts to house a set of running light and fog lights? I have seen the LED's and some running/fog lights installed in the inserts, but the don't look smooth, rather out of place. If there are no plans, then how much would it cost to get to maybe get a set made? Thanks!

+1

I am debating the same, the stock lights dont look right. I am looking at LED bars for my T3s, but an insert of some kind would make the whole thing look cleaner.

Yah, I am really wanting a cleaner look. The LED strips look too small, to me (not to offend anyone). And the ones with the fog/running lights look like they don't belong. I think something that could fit in the insert (an option of an insert for the insert??) that could house the fog and/or running lights would be very cool, and i have seen a TON of creative people on here that could add the LED's to it if so desired.

I agree. If I got those, I'd leave them empty for now.
