Diablo is a bad choice right now for L99 because they do not support the trans tune part. I sold mine for that reason alone. Try SCT instead and Ted Jannetty can hook you up with one. Quote:

A6 stands for Automatic 6 speed... 6 gears. When you are using the paddle shift you can see what gear you are in by looking at the display bottom left. |

I get compliments in a Camaro that I know I would not get in a Pustang.
Don't sweat it. Get a supercharger if you want faster acceleration. |

That's off topic and also subjective. I have friends that have mustangs that get compliments all the time. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean someone else can't.

Ain't it sooooo!
--- --- --to bad "GM" does not think enough of us to give us a "choose" --on what HP we could have under the hood an they would be $15000.00 better off and, save us a lot of time, dis-heart and dis- content! to GM.!!

To the OP: Since you're admittedly new to the mod scene, just understand that when you start "tuning" stuff such as your transmission and/or ecm, you are more than likely going to void your entire powertrain warranty. CAI and Cat-Back exhaust can in most cases (check with your local dealership) be swapped out with only voiding the warranty on those specific parts. As others have said....be happy with whatcha got for now. Let it break-in, practice becoming a better driver, worry about mods later... Just my .02!

The L99 is weak from the factory. The best I have seen is to put Headers & CAI with a good tune. We have seen 12.6's out of adding just these mods to Camaros. It usually jumps them from 315 rwhpo to 355rwhp in the L99's

I put on Flowmaster's Amercan Thunder Series (you can do it yourself) and got another 25hp out of it.
Between the two, I've got plenty additional hp to make a difference on the road I think his butt-dyno is broken
