So, this is what was causing my exhaust to rattle...

So, about a week ago I had some local (non performance) shop install a Magnaflow axle-back. Over the next week that I drove it, it was rattling terribly, especially over bumps. Now, I live in the city and don't have a garage so I couldn't jack it up to check.

I took it over to Showstopper to have my Corsa cat-back installed and this is what I see:

The other shop left a god damn hanger clamp inbetween the resonator and tunnel brace. Good work fellas.

Phone rings, someone walks in and interrupts you, went to the bathroom, went to lunch. There are plenty of ways to forget that you still have some tools on the car and forget them. BUT a competent tech will double and triple check his work and also make sure all tools are accounted for before driving the car out of the work bay. I love it when I find free tools under the hood of cars I work on.

Yeah. The ONLY reason I took it to this shop was that it was on the only one I could find open on a Labor Day and I figured an axle-back is a pretty easy job and didn't need to pay $100/hr techs for it.

Learned my lesson. I think the Corsa sounds better anyways
