Installed New MPD Rear Spoiler...Comments?

Well I ordered the MPD pre-painted rear spoiler (http://www.mpd1.com/content/cam_rearwing.html).

I received it yesterday & installed it this morning. Fairly easy, I did have to elongated 3 of the 6 mounting holes (by 1/2 a hole) & I also needed to plug the seventh hole in the trunk which was for the plastic spring barb on the original spoiler, but not on the MPD.

The last photo shows the only thing I am not happy about. The factory spoiler rubbed a little paint off right above the "SS" on the trunk lid. I plan to get a little touch-up paint Monday to take care of this.

I've always thought the factory spoiler is too understated for the Camaro. It looks like it belongs on a Malibu.

What do you guys think?

Nay.

Sorry man, I don't like it. The Camaro's a beauty the way she is. I love the stock spoiler.

Yea I agree with this guy, I like the stock spoiler better than that. But everyone has different tastes, and if you love it, then thats awesome.

I like the MPD. It's on my short list of choices.

Appears a little far back for me. But I still like it, just like other ones better.

Looks good IMO though.

Looks nice, I like the factory one myself.

Although why didn't you get the trunk paint repaired before installing under your warranty? Now they probably won't...

I wanted to go ahead & get the spoiler installed. It's a very small area (I was hoping it would be under the MPD spoiler, but no such luck).

I could re-install the original spoiler & take it to the dealer, but it's too small an issue for me to really worry about to be honest. A little touch-up paint & it's like it was never there, (ok, I hope). If not, then I will see about the warranty repair.

all the spoilers look wrong they should have made the rear straighter then the spoiler wouldnt have to curve so much that is what looks bad otherwise that looks awesome imho

Good Grief,

People, if you do something to your car I don't like, I'm not gonna call you out on it.... Way too many keyboard commandos on this thread...

OP, While it does not fit my ideal look, the beauty of paying for one of these cars and changing it is the freedom we have to do so...

If you like it, awesome.... It's a good look, but I ordered the GM three piece myself.... Wanted it from the very first time I saw it on the Dale Jr. car, and I'm still waiting on it... any day now...

Keep on Modding and make it your own... and I love the color of your car....

I like it. The factory one is too small, and the 7 foot tall 5 wing ricer ones are idiotic.
