Throttle body spacer

has anyone put a new throttle body spacer on, was it easy to put on, and does it give you more hp. If so how much and is it very noticeable.

Thanks in advance

Why do you think you need a spacer?

If the spacer actually did anything, GM would install it at the factory...

will the spacer change the sound of the air? My friend has one on his 1500 Ram truck and he says the wistle is from a spacer? just curious.

Honestly, they look cool, cost about $100, and just lengthen the intake tract by a couple centimeters.

Power? Eh... Maybe SOTP but then again, it's all relative.

I don't think that there are any real dynos out there proving any sort of power.

There are way better things to spend a Benny on then this if you're wanting looks.

My opinion says so at least.

Here ya go. Price ~$1.00. Leaves you $99 to put towards something that really makes a difference.

I'm thinking green fuzzy dice instead.

I dyno'd with/without 1. 0 changes in hp or tq.

I spoke to Air raid and had the same concerns at first. Its not supposed to give you horsepower just help the car breath better. Its your money spend it how you want. Im just trying to make my V6 the best I can.

Slowhawk's Fuzzy Dice is a better mod than a spacer. I remember this thread on other forums circa F-body and C5 Vette in the late 90's. It was true then, and is true now - spacers = waste of money.

Slowhawk, can I get mine in lime green please?

Thumbs down

Well I have an air aid intake and had the throttle body spacer installed at the same time. What a absolute nightmare. I have a L99 and it made my car bogged down like no other. It also made my car run hotter as well. I took my car back and had them remove the throttle spacer and its running good again. throttle body spacer is a waste of money...and they gave me a full refund. Have a good day

I purchased an Airaid CAI and they threw a throttlebody spacer in for free. The install was easy as far as power who knows.
