Look at the spread sheet....then I would tell you to consider Halltech. Based on Ted's testing it out performed the Roto-Fab by a significant difference.

I used my Roto-fab both when my car was stock and now with my E-force supercharger, and i love it. Fit and finish is fantastic.

It outperformed ALL the CAI's that weren't scoop aided and was damn near equal to one of the scoop aided CAI's. Seeing that it's on sale for $329 right now, it's CONSIDERABLY cheaper than the one that beat it.

$329!!! I paid $350.....I want my money back!

Just kiddn'.....I would pay $350 all over again. The customer service from Halltech is spot on. Any time you call you'll get Jim Hall right off the bat. I had a small issue with the weather strip and expected to just glue it back on. Nope....Jim sent me a brand new one and I got 2 days later.

Also, based on JRE's independent testing, the Roto-Fab didn't make an increase in HP (although I'm very suprised at that....I would've thought it made some increase). The Halltech on the other hand made 10 rwhp.

I do like the looks of the Roto-Fab and definately like their radiator cover that works in conjunction with their CAI. That's a sweet looking piece and wish I could get something similar with the Halltech.

From what I've seen Roto-Fab has great customer service as well. Not saying Roto-Fab is a bad choice.....it's just that IMO the Halltech is a better choice.

I'd have to say Airaid here ... I liked the price, fit and finish along with the sound when I hit the gas ... You can really hear it sucking the air, kinda like flipping the top of the air cleaner when I was a kid ...

All I can say is that when you are researching which CAI to get, look at the independent test that was done by JRE to see how well the CAI you're looking at actually performed.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=107002

Airaid was tested as well.

I realize we all have different tastes and it is nice to have many choices. BUT, why does anyone want to raise their Camaro hood and look directly at the ugly air filter element?? It just does not look finished/professional. The factory air cleaner was better looking than an exposed element. The ugly part of the factory unit was not the airbox but the tube runing to the throttle-body with all the protrusions (sound reducers) sticking out both sides. I would rather keep the factory sealed unit and replace the factory tube. Just my 2 cents.

I take it you've removed your ADM unit and reverted back to the beautiful stock unit then?

After I bought the car I was in the process of doing just that, tweeking the factory unit. Specifically the 4 inch tube from airbox to TB. However the ADM intake, which looks even better, hit the market so I went that way. Like I said good to have choices.

I chose the Airaid after reading all the threads on this site about CAI's. I didn't believe the hype and expected only a 5HP gain but was shocked to actually get 14HP.

Looks awesome! Have you seen the maggie specific intake tube from Roto-Fab? You would see a nice 12-15 horsepower increase!

This is the intake here -

You will only need pay for the pipe upgrade ! Notice how much different the pipe is? We and roto-fab have seen these 10-15 hp gains over the standard kits on every maggie car!

Link from roto-fab directly - http://shop.roto-fab.com/product.sc?...5&categoryId=8

The pipe upgrade cost would be very marginal for you, and a cheap way to get even more HP/TQ!

Looking at the spreadsheet I don't believe Roto-Fab was tested on the 9/17/10 run. I'm not convinced you can compare results from last years run to this years run directly. For example if we compare the 2009 run for ADM vs the 2010 run, the average HP jumped from 4.4 to 10.1 I think it's best to compare products run on the same day with the (near) same test conditions.

Ted - thanks for all your great work

Full disclosure: I've had the Roto-fab for almost a year and would buy it again in a heartbeat.

EDIT: I just realized the ADM looks to be two different models?? In any case, I still think it's best to compare products run on the same day with the (near) same test conditions.

A better example would be the Cold Air Inductions Avg HP in 2009 run was 4.4 vs 10.7 in 2010
