shift knob adapter question

ok,heres my problem,

so far i havent been able to find anywhere that makes an adapter

that will let me use a screw on shift knob on the push on knob shaft.

does anyone make one of these that is specificaly for the 5th gen camaros?

if it makes any difference,i will have the factory hurst shifter option.

so this is the shift knob that I got and this is the adapter that I need on the stick...(picture from another member that got it from Barton)

i called Autoanything and they donít have the adapter..
i called Dave at Barton industries and they dont have the adapter maybe in another 2 months.
i call MGW and they donít have/make that adapter their camaro shift knobs donít come with adapter they are made to fit the factory stick i guess..
TWM shift knobs have camaro adapters 3/4 16 that wonít fit the hurts shift knob.
any other ideas where can i get this adapter?

yeah i tryed that but they dont have any now !! they say maybe in two months.//
but i did find this one on on shopMRt.com
http://www.mrt-direct.com/mrtntadapt.html

Product Description
NOTE: BECAUSE THE STOCK OEM SHIFTER ON THE 2010+ CAMAROíS ARE UNTHREADED, USE OF ANY AFTERMARKET SHIFTBALL WILL REQUIRE A NON-THREADED SHIFTBALL ADAPTER. *CONVERTS YOUR THREADED SHIFT KNOB TO A NON-THREADED SHIFTER SHAFT *CAN BE USED WITH ANY SHIFT KNOB WITH A 16 X 1.5 MASTER *POLISHED ALUMINUM FINISH

hopefully it works !! thanks.

shifter

Get the whole shifter from Dave @ Barton, then use your ball/handle...

i bought that same hurst shifter for my car and have had no luck finding that adapter either. for now i went to ace hardware and bought black friction tape i wrapped the shaft with the tape and then twisted on the handle it is on there really good and has to be unthreaded to be removed it cannot just be pulled off. This is just temporary until the adapter can be found let me know if you have found it somewhere.

You might check with www.flameball.com I believe they have adapters that will fit over the stick. I bought mine shift knob from them and it came with a plastic piece that slid over the shaft and then I just pushed the knob down on it and then used the set screw.

sorry I went back and read your post and I misread it. I have the stock shifter , not a threaded shaft.
