dude that thing sounds mean! Even for a V6. I wonder if that's with the GMP Catback Exhaust? Nevertheless, I'll be getting the CBE.

That is not with the cat-back. Its the stock (though not finished) exhaust. Personally, I think it will sound VERY good with some flowmasters.

Flowmasters may not be good for this engine, as when I youtubed flowmasters on a CTS.. Needless to say it sounded like a fart-can 'racer'..>_<

Magnaflows or other glass packed mufflers would be MUCH better than a chambered muffler.

Deeper tone with a ever so slight rasp.

Those aren't flowmasters - thats a corsa system. And I agree, with Super 40's, this engine sounds like crap. Just like putting them on an L4 would. But Delta 40's sound awesome on my 1.6 hyundai (for a 4), and I'm sure they will sound even better on this car.

Personally, I think the delta 40's sound much better on smaller displacement engines than the super 40's - because they don't let as much sound through, they take out a lot of the buzz that you get in the super 40's - gets rid of the bees in a can sound. They aren't as loud though, but thats good in some ways too - they're loud enough to be heard without attracting too much attention from the cops.
- Xanthos

P.S. - Here's a clip of a GM v6 with a delta 40 muffler. This is a single exhaust, so the camaro will most likely be louder and throatier.

This is the exaust i want on my Camaro v-6

I am some-what dissapointed with the stock sound of the v-6,it sounds like a "tuner" exaust...on an american(canadian)made car.The exaust is by Muffler tech out of Sacramento California, the system consists of a x-pipe and 2 Magnapaks.I think it sounds Awesome, closest thing i've heard next to a V-8!

Although I'm still aiming for the SS, that is an absolutely incredible sound for the V6. I am unbelievably impressed by it.
