What kind of website allows sponsors to post false or misleading information?

And then lock the thread?

Sponsor starts a thread with information, everyone tells them its not right. Moderators clear the information that justifies why it's incorrect and locks the thread.

Really got nothing to go off of here without a link. I don't know the info, the situation, or the context.

I know the thread your talking about, while I agree its not something that I think is right, they are entitled to run things however they want. Paying vendors wishes will outway non paying members wishes everytime. If I am wrong and this is not the case I apologize in advance..

Ya, a couple of my posts in that thread were removed too. That thread should have been completely deleted the first day. It made the sponsor in question look really stupid.

I do not represent Pfadt, Pedders, Hotchkis, or any other suspension manufacturer. From a purely independent standpoint, it is abundantly clear that a suspension can get you better times at the track by helping to convert in the car to power on the road. There are technical theories and practices known to do this better than others, but this thread is not the place to discuss that. That being said and without demonstrating any level of loyalty to any brand, the information in the original post has not been proven right or wrong by anyone.

Moreover, I don't care if any member pays. No one gets preferential treatment unless they personally give me free stuff. Where's my free stuff?

In conclusion, that thread is continuing so that reasonable discussion can ensue. There was a lot of flaming in there that violated forum rules, so that can't stay. Camaro5 does have paying vendors who are welcome to advertise in appropriate ways. Moderators are not responsible for pushing their products, so you are welcome to draw any conclusions you want about their products. If you decide to publish those opinions, do so in a way that does not violate forum rules.

Since this thread is reduntant and parallel to the other discussion, I'm going to leave you guys to respectfully post elsewhere.
