One thing I found out last night. When you hit the curb at a decent rate of speed, it will deploy the side air bags. No damage to the car except the driver side rims.

I don't know if it has been mentioned but on the 2012 automatic you can shift the transmission manually even in Drive, it will shift and hold that gear for about 20 seconds before returning to Auto mode. I found this out reading the owners manual then trying it out.

A lot of good information, some known and others were not. Appreciate it and good idea for a thread.

You do not need to hold the key turned to the "start" position until it starts. Just turn it enough to make contact then let go, a second later your car will have started.

If a car has no arrow, then whichever side of the gauge the little picture of the pump is on, is the side the gas cap is located.

That don't work either, the gas pump picture is right in the middle of the gauge. But the gauge is located on the same side of the instrument cluster as the tank fill is. But that may just be a coincidence

May want to be carefull on this one. Too much pressure applied will crack (hairline, at first, then propagate) the clear radio overlay. It doesn't take much either. Mine happened while under warranty and was replaced.

Actually, if the car is off, the doors open on the first pull. Ignition on, it takes 2 pulls. Safety feature. You don't have to pull the handle twice from the outside to let the window clear the weatherstrip.

If the doors are unlocked it still only takes one pull to open with the car running. Otherwise the first pull unlocks the door the second opens it. From the inside that is.

Probably. I guess if there's no arrow and the symbol is in the middle, you're on your own!

One thing I have found out in my many years of existance is just when you think you have figured out how to recogise certain things you always find an exception to the rule.

Yes!

Holy Crap! I didn't even know it would play .mp3 CD's. Not that they will hold nearly as much tuneage as my flash drive but the quality sure is better. I just filled a few CD's and tried it out. Awesome! I've had the car a few months too. lol

Thanks! Going to read on.
