Very nice! Who did you get to paint it - dealer or local body shop?

That is on my "To Do" list of mods.

My dealership ordered them thinking they would come in the gray color, but when they came in they were already pre painted. I told him to leave it the gray color for now, so he better not charge me for the pre paint job since it wasn't what I asked for. Otherwise it does look good.

This may already be on here but I didn't feel motivated enough to look through all the pages. Does anyone have a good overhead shot of an IBM camaro with no stripes and preferrably no sun roof?

I am looking for something showing the hood roof and trunk pretty much straight on. The reason I ask is that when I last washed my car, the first time after bringing it out of storage, I noticed that my vinyl stripes are looking pretty shabby, so I'm beginning to think about removing them and getting painted stripes. I would appreciate a photo to experiment with in adding a few different stripe styles to help me decide just what I want to do. To anyone who can oblige I would be greatful!

I am looking for something as close to this overhead view as possible:

Sorry to hear about your vinyl stripes, but that is the exact reason I decided not to get them on my IBM, I will get some painted this winter when she is in storage for 5 months....

Good luck with the paint schemes

Painted Stripe options

So I've been playing around with the picture IBM/2SS/RS/LS3 provided and would like everyone's opinion on any of the stripe styles you like. I know many consider roof stripes to be a Mustang trait, but I am just trying to come up with as many possibilities as I can.

Feel free to list as many or as few as you prefer, and if you have any other suggestion for other styles I would like to hear those too and will try to come up with an image to fit your description.

Here is what I have come up with so far.

1. Rally stripes (which is what I currently have)
2. Rally stripes + roof
3. "Bumblebee" stripes
4. "Bumblebee" stripes + roof
5. Wide stripe style
6. Wide stripe style + roof
7. TF3 Style
8. Indy Pace Car style

Still like the "stock" #1 scheme overall personally.

Heritage Grill was installed yesterday

Was the intent on the #1 and 2 to keep the black from Jay's hood? Because I kind of like

No, I just didn't have any success changing black to IBM, and also don't know how to cut out the mails slots or scoops in the hood.

Thanks for the responses so far, and anyone who hasn't commented yet please still feel free to do so. Personally I am leaning toward 3, 4, and 7 (its growing on me the more times I see it), but am still interested in seeing what others think.

I think I'm going to have to make one of those stripe threads with a poll to get the opinions of owners of every color.

Running with this idea I present the following, and because my photoshop skills aren't the best here is a brief description from out to in:

White outer pinstripe covering entire cowl portion on the hood,
small gap between the white and silver where IBM shows through,
thinner black stripe sandwiched between two wider silver stripes on raised portion of hood.

I got some better top shots for you that I found in my file of pictures - hope they help with your design. I took these when I was trying to decide on my stripes.
