Hood is CGM with flat black stripes.

I will ship if you pay for it, and I am not garunteeing any issues from shipment. There arnet any issues with the hood as is other than its used, but if something happens during shipping I wont cover it. (sorry im not a business and at $200 covering any issue such as paint or dent would not make it worth it for me)

Ok shipping would be anywhere from $165-$300 to 97503. Depending on the actual size of the box and the actual weight. I estimated a 48x36x5 box at 50lbs. So give or take the different wont be that much. $165 was the cheapest at that size.

Dont really care about paint or small dents, the color doesnt match my car anyway, so body work might have to be done anyway. I haven't been able to find a closer hood. If you want to sell it to the other guy so you don't have to ship it that's fine, but if you'd be willing to ship it, I'd be down to buy.

I dont imagine the hood itself would weight more than 50 lbs, it is made from aluminum after all. My old GTO hood didn't weigh that much. I'll see what kinda deal I can get on freight shipping through my work, ill measure the hood, and make a guestament on crated weight.

I dont think it weighs that much either. It actually felt lighter than the fiberglass hood I replaced it with! Anyways just let me know what you figure out.

I measured my hood. Using the dimensions 49x63x6, weight, 50 lbs I got a quote of 106.01 from USF Reddaway through my work. According to the Reddaway website, the nearest depot is in San Diego, don't know if you'd be willing to take it there to drop it off?

If the other guy is me, I won't be buying it. The hood weighs 27lbs. Maybe the shipper could pickup from the shop doing your work?

Would the hood be at your home, or work or ?? I called Reddaway again today, they said they could pick up from a residential address, but then the truck would have a lift gate which they would charge me an extra 57 bucks for.... If they pick up from a commercial place, they don't need the lift gate.

It is at my apartment... Other than painting I have been doing all my own body work on my car. If I had a shop I would do it all myself!
