Got revved on..

By a Lamborghini.

I think I bruised his ego. I guess he expected me to try and race him after like 5 rev's, and a stare down. (Mind you, I was just listening to music, and trying to ignore the twit) After a couple of rev's, and him shouting out " Hey! Lets go at green!" and being a convertible, I felt it was appropriate to poke my head out the window and say: "Oh wow!! Look at you in your little Lambo.. compensating much?" Then he just blew through the red light in a cloud of smoke.

Wow isn't he cool??! I guess I never really understood why people have to try and show off. To each their own i guess...

But afterwards, exchanged a few thumbs up with some other Camaro owners.

I don't understand people like that either. I gawk and drool over any beautiful car no matter what it is...but the over the top testosterone driven animation is unneccesary. I will give em a couple revs to humor them sometimes, but I have better things to do then race my car illegally on the street and risk major fines, car impoundment, and loss of license to feed my self worth/esteem. I find it comical to a point, but sad none the less. Maybe I should stop the revving period as it seems to encourage the BS child like behavior.

I almost drooled on myself when i saw it in my rear view, right before it changed lanes to get next to me. When people do crap like that though, i wont even entertain it. Usually i just roll my window up and roll my eyes haha. That really gets em going.

At least the guy trying to race you had a nice car. The last guy to race me was driving a Ford Explorer. I did exactly what you did.

Good for you not giving in to his stupidity!

On the way down to the SD Zoo Sat, we caught up to, then slowly passed a bright green Audi R8! Beautiful car He then tailed me for a bit...no racing or revving.

Haven't seen the bright green, but that is my next car. Right after I win the lotto and sell a few more black market kidneys. That car is just B A D!!!

The wife is waiting on pins and needles for the R4. Can't wait for the LA Auto Show. They are unveiling the "Hybrid Concept" that is rumored to be the R4 final design. Come on 2012!!!!

when I encounter people like this, I totally egg them on and feign as if I am going to race them. I'll rev back at them and give them the nod.. when the light goes green, I watch them take off, and I turn off of the road if I can or very slowly accelerate and be on my way.

(secretly hoping they get pulled over for their stupidity)

Do what I do in that situation. I tell them that I would race you, but I only like to take the chance with really fast cars. Then I ignore them and drive on my way.

At least you have a story to tell. "Even Lambo's are challenging me". But maybe you have to make-up the ending a different way, then what really happend, lol.

That's funny! I always try and race Camaros in my Silverado or anything else(Mustangs, Vettes, GTOs etc.) but they never want to play. Then when I get in the DD Honda everyone wants some.

I'm sorry but if you have racing stripes on your car your telling people to "bring it".

Am I wrong on this or what?

Hey could those scions get turbo's in them or superchargers? Smoked one goin on the on ramp and twice down the highway. He put up a good fight for what it was. I shouldnt get tempted with those type of cars, waste of premium gas.
