New to this thread and have reviewed most but not all and was wondering is anyone is experiencing what I am. When attempting to select a new album to listen too the system will drop the connectivity to the ipod and revert back to the radio. At other times it will it will slowly index and display the song titles for that album then drop and revert back to the radio as if the ipod is no longer attached. If I unplug the device and plug it back in it will revert to the previously playing tune.

don't expect a quick answer i've been trying for a week to get one simple answer and no one seems to be able to answer it for me.

Car is now fixed, come to find out the dealer just replaces the PDIM with the newest module now

If I had it installed after I purchased the car, but it was installed buy a GM dealer. Would it still be covered?

Yes that is some of what some of us is experiencing. We also get a loud static sound in the middle of the song some times, and it does not index the albums or songs correctly.

Thanks fellas for the quick reply. Off to the dealer next week with two TSB's and a recall...If you do not know the 2011 just recieved a recall for the AC.

I took the number to the dealer and they said they could not look it up. is the canadian tsb numbers different??

Are you asking if you could get reimbursed for the cost of getting it installed prior to this document coming out? Thank you for clarifying this for me.

No, it started acting up on me about a week ago and I wanted to know if I could take it to a dealer and be able to get it replaced with the newer one or have the software updated without any cost to me. Thanks.

Don't mean to thread jack, but what A/C issue has a TSB out? I have to admit mine doesn't cool as well in this weather we're having here (115-125 F)

I thought we answered your question. Did you ever call Gene Culley (GM Parts House, 484.949.2099)? He's the one who can tell you what part numbers are in the kit.

I'm pretty sure he speaks Canadian.

I took my car in to the dealership today for a couple of issues, one being that my drivers seat keeps coming loose at the front bottom, and second the issue with the PDIM. I have a Pre-Order car, low Vin #7757. Well I have finally gotten the dealership to order the New Part, hopefully. They are ordering #12884 module for my car.
