i called my local dealer and they can get the new part number listed but its very pricey. i can't seem to find it online for that much cheaper though with all the shipping costs to canada.... should I just go ahead and get it from my dealer?

Did u show them the PI0055B? According to that, they should replace it under warranty, if your car came with the usb option.

no i don't have it. i got the LS and I was just going to order the part seperate and install it. tried online to find it but in the end probably just as easy to let them order it I think.

Got myself worried now, I keep seeing posts where the newest part number is different than the one I gave my dealer. If it comes in and its not the newest, then they will probably say something like "well thats the number you gave us"

Ok how long does it usually take to order and receive the part. They should have ordered it last Friday.

For Me, they ordered it on a Monday, had it Friday afternoon and installed it the following Monday.

Yes it was under Warranty. I showed them the TSB #PI0055B, they ordered and installed Part #22797218, Version DB/DD. Now all is working as it should have from the Start.

Sounds like the dealer took care of u. I have an 2011 and am still going around with them and General Motors Customer Assistance Center, trying to get the DB module.

well my part is in, but it is not #22797218. guess ill be taking the tsb, cause if its not db then im not accepting.

yep they ordered and installed the wrong part. I have DA not DB. I gave them the part number again, but he says they have to call tech support and talk to them about it. Also when they replaced the module the banged up my center console real good. They ordered a replacement for that. I'm just ready for this stuff to be done.

Also when they installed they got dirt or grease on my seat covers. But I think I got it all cleaned off.

I just got mine replaced today, now it is HW: DB SW: DB, no issues yet.

I just took mine to the dealer today, with a print out of the bulletin. At first the service manager told me he was having is guy upgrade my PDIM. I then told him that I have the C version and that it calls for it to be replaced. He went back and read the bulletin and then told me he put the part on order. Boy, I love these forums.
