California Duster

Do any of you all use a Calif. Duster to clear the dust away?

I have one but rarely use it. You have to be very gentle to use it and not damage anything. It does NOT work for dust/dirt that has been there a few days. I usually prefer to use waterless car wash products and a good microfiber towel to clean it up rather than try to dust.

I would never use one, my Camaro gets dried with a leaf blower and never gets wiped with any kind of towels or dusters.

YES, the trick to this is using it PROPERLY...go and watch Junkmans videos, he even uses one when needed, and he will show you the right way to use it.

I use mine almost daily and it works great for what it does - but use it properly or you will have scratches, check out the video by Junkman.

I use one all the time and have used them for the last ten years. I don't leave home without it.

You just have to remember that it's for very light dust. You can't use it to take off heavy dirt.

I live on a gravel road and the california duster is perfect for un-dusting my Camaro when I get to the pavement the first day or two after a wash in the summer months. After that it's wash it again or wait out the weather until I can wash it again

I love this thing, Perfect when the car is absolutely clean but gets a layer of light dust from pollen, or just sitting in the garage. Never use it to remove road film after driving really.
Especially useful with Black cars that are dust free for like 10 minutes after washing.

+1 on AJ / junkman's videos - he sold me on the duster and Adam's waterless by showing the proper way to use these products...

Every day sometimes twice a day. You just have to realize it will only work for fresh light dusting.
