Fuel vapor line not connected at the factory
So with only 83 miles on the clock my 2011 Camaro started telling me to tighten the gas cap. I did, twice, as tight as it would go. Still the message popped up every morning and it set the check engine light on as well. So down to the dealer I went. They put in a new gas cap and pressure tested the fuel system. It wouldn't hold pressure. So they injected smoke into the system and guess what. A hose on the vapor recover system was not connected. It came that way for the factory.
Anybody else have similar problems or am I just lucky?
