And I thought there was going to be a Hot Girl in Here

Now Add Long Tube headers and free flow air filter to the mix.

Any cam change should be accompanied by LT headers.

Yes, engine HP.
Don't have a model of your headers or cai. So, this is cam only on stock motor.

Just curious, but why is the graph showing the stock form different in each of the graphs?

Thanks

I overlayed all the LS3 plots. They all agree.
'last' is stock LS3 - red and terquoise.

Yeah! Generally that's what high HP cams do.

Roger,

You wouldn't happen to recall of any cams that you modeled that had gains from idle to 4500rpm and still pulled good thru 6000rpm?

Thanks

I did a LS3 blower cam for usmcjlp that lost nothing below peak torque then had a BIG gain above peak torque. But it doesn't do that without the blower. A high torque or pulling cam will make more torque at low RPM but will suffer for high RPM HP. This is a big reason for aggressive cams being used with deeper gears.

Curiousity is killing me, I was told that both of these cams would fit the bill. If you get some time could you please model these.

how about doing a 230 234 .617 .600 cam, like what spinmonster uses in all the 500rwhp ls3 builds.

You also have to take in to consideration that Long Tube Headers can recover any lost torque in the low ranges and ultimately change the way the cams react.

These are Cool Programs and I have played with them many times over the years but they may not be realistic unless you can factor in the headers and low restriction air filters.

Ted,

Thats good to know, I do have Long Tubes, C.A.I intake. In your years of experiance working on different combinations, what dircetion can you steer me in that will give me great street perfromance, great torque in the rpm range that I drive in "2000-4500" and still pull good thru 6000, is it "possable for me to have my wife and my strippers too"?

I'm not looking for a dyno queen. or a track car.

Thanks

All Of my Cam selections are based on that Premise Good Low speed torque with good all around power, that is why My Street Cam Makes 445 435 torque and not 460 415 like others.

I have cams in stock just give me a call.

Ted.
